I'm cheating today.  I know you've seen these pants already this week, but I just received these photos from Catara, and I need to run!  It's my boyfriends birthday weekend, and I have lots to do!  So excited to tell you guys what I got him :)  I'm waiting to tell you until Monday though...for the smallest, most insanely impossible chance that he's looking at this right now ;).  Yeah right, lets get serious lol.

Have a lovely weekend! :)

For the Love of Tunics

Top: NY&Co (last year) option option option
Tank underneath: NY&Co
Jeans: Paige via TJ Maxx
Shoes: Payless Similar Similar
Sunnies: TJ Maxx
Pearls: Gift
Ring: CR
Bracelets: Old

TGIT!!! Hey girls!  Guess who has a 3 day weekend!

Here is a quick, easy, and comfortable running errands to summer night look.  I grabbed this tunic from NY&Co last summer (grabbed my Mom one as well!) and I still love it this year.  They are normally a light fabric, and loose fitting.  Perfect for those need to hide the tummy days ;).

If you are able to find a top that's cute, comfortable, and not a "hot trend"... I say GET IT.  When something is not super trendy, but still stylish, you'll get more wear out of it.  I have a pink, purple, and white one from Target that I bought  maybe 3 years ago, and it's still one of my favorite go-tos.

Another great thing about these tops are the fun necklines.  No need for a statement necklace, however if you have an everyday necklace you never take off, you could most likely still wear it here.

Oh, and if you didn't know already, thats my "little" bunnybutt, BooBoo.  When I got him 5 years ago, they told me at the pet store he was a female "mini" lop.  Well, one wee wee and 7lbs later, they were clearly mistaken.

So, who wants to come over and do my roots?? Geesh! haha

Have a good one ladies!!

Skinny Cowl Top- 3 ways

Skinny Cowl Top: c/o SUGARLIPS

Chev Pants: Random shoe store, another option at Target
Shoes: Payless

Sunnies: TJ Maxx

Hi Pretties!  So today I have decided to do one top, three different ways.  When I received this blouse in the mail, I didn't at first realize how versatile it was.  I originally planned to wear it with my new black Paige jeans for an easy "going out" look, but then I accidentally bought this skirt that I don't need (hey, it was 11 bucks!) at Target last week, and made it a little more sophisticated.  And THEN I was feeling fun, and broke out my chevron pants!  I looooooooove my chevron pants!

I really like the color combo and neckline of this blouse.  It's also super light and comfortable, so wearing it with pants this time of year is totally appropriate. I got it from Sugarlips apparel, a company located in Los Angeles, California that carries some really unique styles.  Check them out if you're tired of looking like everyone else, and appreciate good quality clothing.

Which look do you like best??

That's all for today!  Is this anyones else home stretch before a vacation next week?!  Can't wait!

Bracelet in the middle: Gifted. Chicos maybe love these
Clutch: Macys (old)

Surprise surprise!  Another post with white jeans.  I will stop after this.  I swear its my last one.  Really, I'm done this time.

If you know me at all, you know those words are useless.  I can't tell you how many times I say those things... whether it be the samples at costco, while "sharing" a bag of peanut M&M's with the boy, or every time I order my favorite Vineyard 7 drink from my favorite BBQ joint ;)

Anyway, white jeans will dress up any normal top, OR could dress down a fancier top.  Go ahead, give it a try! :)

Have a good one!

Happy Friday everyone!! Thank you to Dana from Dana's Lookbook for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger award!  What a fun idea!

The rules are as follows:
-Nominate 10 fellow bloggers who are relatively new to blogging
-Let them know you have nominated them
-Share 7 random facts about yourself-Thank the bloggers that have nominated you
-Add the versatile blogger award to your post

Ok, if you really want to know, here's

7 Random Facts about ME

1. I am afraid of the dark.  I shut the lights off along with the direction I'm going.  If I need to go through a dark room to turn the lights off in another, I turn the lights on first, then turn them off as I go through again.  P.S. I 100% believe in ghosts.

2. I will not harm a fly, but I've killed a snake.  Bugs are cute!  I catch them and throw them outside.  Who am I to kill them?  We all know how much it sucks to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.  However, snakes are not welcomed in my life.  No way Jose.

3. If you so much even TOUCH my food with sausage or red peppers, I will not eat it.

4. I LOVE BROADWAY! It makes me so happy I've cried.  My boyfriend got me tickets to my first Broadway show (Mary Poppins) in NY last year, and I cried when I opened them.  I blast Phantom of the Opera in my car, am obsessed with Glee, and have watched Rent 23742983 times.

5. This is bad.  I am a fast food junkie.  I worked at McDonalds all through high school and college (7+ years) and I never ever got sick of it.  I'm sure I could take a 400 lb man in a double cheeseburger eating contest.  Just ask my friends, they'll tell you.

6. On the flip side, I probably eat an entire watermelon a week.  It's one of my favorite things about summer.  I crave it constantly.

7.  I have a HUGE wish list in life, and recently got to cross something off :)  I gots myself a dressing room!  We live in a 3 bedroom house, and an entire room is dedicated to my wardrobe and accessories.  With a place with no closet space, and a girl with a shopping problem... we had no choice.  Oops :)
Next on my list is a house with lots of land, a wrap around porch, and peacock.

Well, that was fun :)

Ok, my nominations are as follows:

Pants: Random shoe store ha! Similar
Owl Necklace: eBay
Jewelry:Target, NY&Co, Hallmark
Sunnies: TJ Maxx

Do not adjust your screen... yes, that is a knot I tied in my shirt.  First neons, now this.  I am an 80's baby after all ;)

I'm so excited these wide leg pants (I'm sure this style of pant has a name, but I don't know it yet) are back in style!  I found these at a random shoe store here in Philly, but Target has very similar ones in two different prints right now.  I would recommend wearing a tighter/form fitting shirt with pants like this.. otherwise you might look like a sack.  These are great for summer because they are very light weight, and they allow you to skip a day of shaving (hehe)... I'll take it!

Pants from a shoe store, bracelets from a card store, necklace from Hong Kong.  I love random finds :)

Hope you're staying cool today!!

A heads up

Shirt: Valerie Bertinelli
Jeans: J Brand
Jewelry: NY&Co (Bracelet: gifted)
Shoes: Target

Hi Friends! Just wanted to give you a heads up... I am changing the name of my blog.  Pink Margarita Pearl is bothering me.  Actually, it's making me uncomfortable in my own skin.  To me, a name says a lot, and I'm not sure what this name is saying.  It has no direction.  I love all 3 things (especially Margaritas), and "Margarita Pearl" is a legit pearl... but it's just not making sense to me.  When people ask me what the name of my blog is, I throw up in my mouth a little.  So, I'd say it's time ;)

Hopefully by next week I'll have it figured out.  I already have a pretty good idea of what I want my new blog name to be.  It's something that's more me..but I'm still open to suggestions :) ... and any advice on how to actually DO it would be much appreciated.  After all, I'm into clothes, not computers!

Thanks girls!

"I can see clearly now the rain is gone.."

Dress worn as skirt: Wal-mart Similar Similar
Necklace: eBay
Arm: Target, NY&Co

Good Morning!  Ok it didn't rain, but the song is in my head, and here's an outfit to brighten you day anyway :)  I know I just did this skirt/dress last week for Bonnie's Style to the Max(i), but it looks so much better when a pro takes your photos :)

One thing I forget to mention last week, is that if you are going to purchase a strapless maxi dress to wear as a skirt, you're going to want to buy a much smaller size.  I first bought a large without trying it on.  The first time I wore it, it was falling down past my waist, and I was tripping on the bottom constantly.  Stumbling like a fool was not the look I was going for here.  I ended up exchanging it for a small, and it was perfect.  It makes sense, obviously hopefully my chest is bigger than my waist, and I would need it to be tighter fitting as a skirt.  Depends on how many Qdoba burritos I eat that week I guess.

And if you want to see how else to style this cardigan, check this post out.

Thank you so much Catara for fitting me into your busy schedule! I wish I could have quality photos like this on my blog everyday!

If you haven't already, check her out at http://www.cataracarrellphotography.com/ or her Facebook page, and be sure to check in next Tuesday for some more awesome photos from her!

Have a bright (bright) bright sun-shiny day!

Good Morning!!  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  The weather here was amazing!!

I bring you, yet again, another outfit with white jeans.  I absolutely LOVE Paige denim, but it's so expensive.  So every time I see them at TJ Maxx, I scoop them right up!  I can wear HEELS with these babies.  That is HUGE for me!  These are the only jeans that I can actually put in the dryer... and if they shrink an inch they will still be long enough!  When I wash any other pair, I have to take them out wet, step on the ends, and pull pull pull to stretch the legs.  Then I hang dry them, and they get all stiff and wrinkly.  Ughh.

Anyway, my point is I love these!  And I'm hoping flare (and maybe even bell bottoms) come back!  I have to admit, I'm getting sick of skinny jeans.  I've had enough.  Who's with me?

Have a good one girls!

Hey girls.. so it may be Friday to you, but it's Saturday to me.  I've been sleeping in, being lazy, and I think I ate an entire sleeve of Ritz crackers.  I did, however, finally manage to get dressed.

Now what?

I have nothing to do...and its Friday?!

.....crickets.....

Hmmm, maybe there's some dip in the fridge...

Have a good weekend! :)

Maxi with a twist, and linking up!

Dress (worn as skirt): Wal-marts!
First top: Old Navy Similar Similar
Second top: NY&Co
Belt: CR (old)
Bag: Ross
Bracelets: Target (old)

Hey all!  So sorry I've been MIA the past couple of days.  My work/boot camp schedule + pouring rain + visiting our friends because they just had thecutestbabygirlever = haven't been in anything but sweatpants since Monday.

Today I'm linking up with one of my favorite ladies who's hosting "Style to the Max(i)."  Bonnie from Mini Me Style is putting us in maxi dresses this week.  Maxi dresses are hard for me to find because they are never long enough (story of my shopping life)... but when there's a will, there's a way!  This really is a dress... a $14.88 dress from Wal-marts ya'll.  It's strapless, and when worn as intended, it's way too short on me.

No biggie!

These cheap and easy to find dresses are perfect to wear as skirts too!  I just pulled the top of the dress down passed the girls, threw on any top, and belted it.

Done.

I'm curious, would you have ever guessed? :)

Have a lovely day chickie poos!

To the Maxx!

Top: TJ Maxx (Darjoni) Love Similar
Jeans: TJ Maxx (Paige) Similar
Shoes: Kenneth Cole
Jewelry: NY&Co
Clutch:  Target

Well hello!  Are you as unexcited to be up this Monday morning as me?  Work has been driving me nuts lately, so over the weekend I made sure I had a few things to cheer me up for the next couple of days.  Nothing takes away the stress of work (and life) better than some good old retail therapy!

I was in State College, Pa this weekend, and for some reason they have the best TJ Maxx.. ever.  That town is the WORST for shopping, but somehow redeems itself with this store.  I must have been in there for 2 hours, and made 3 trips (at least) to the dressing room.  This is why prefer to shop alone... I can get into my zone without anyone tapping their feet, sitting down because they're tired, or rolling their eyes.  It also gives me WAY to much time to justify everything in my cart.

Every top I tried on, I tried on with these white jeans.  White jeans are kinda my summer thing (I get that from my Mom).  I think they make everything look good.  I'm obsessed.  So of course EVERY top I tried on, I got.  :)

Looking at these photos now, I realize I should've worn a belt.
A pink one maybe...or maybe just brown.
  Oh well, next time!

Have a good day :)

Pop Pop Pop!

Shirt: Target
Pants: NY&Co Similar
Shoes: Target (old) Similar, Fun, yes please!
Necklace: F21 (old)
Arm everything: NY&Co
Nail Polish: Sinful colors (do NOT recommend)

It's Fridaaaaaaay!!! And nothing can change that!  I actually have off today (hehe), but I still got my butt up at 5:30 this morning to go to boot camp.  Just to clarify, not "real" boot camp, just the kind that makes you want to DIE.  I just started it up again after taking 2 months off (back problems...boo), and I feel like it was my first time exercising - ever.

So as I sit here, icing my entire body, I bring you my outfit of the day.  A not so neutral neon combination, perfect for a Friday!  Typically, I really like the neon yellow paired with a white or tan, but what the heck.  I bought these purple capris and wore them, umm once (here), so I'm determined to get some more wear out of them!

So, since I decided to get a little pop crazy with color, I thought the nails had to jump on board too.  I bought the (cheapest) brightest neon pink color nail polish I could find at my local Rite Aid.  I think its Sinful Colors, or something like that.  (If I could walk right now, I'd go upstairs and find it to be sure, but stairs are out of the question at the moment.)  Anyway, don't get it.  Even after 2 coats, the coverage is awful.

Ok pretty ladies, I must get on with my day.  I'm headed back to State College for my baby cousins high school graduation... the cousin I remember holding in the hospital the night she was born.

Yikes.

Have a great weekend!!

What a hoot!

Shirt: Target
Pants: NY&Co
Shoes: Target on sale!
Bracelets/ Watch: NY&Co
Necklace: eBay (around $2 shipped!)

Good morning! I've been on eBay a lot lately searching for fun necklaces.  I ordered maybe 4 or 5 (I don't remember exactly how many because they take about 3 weeks to come in the mail, but for $2 who cares!?)  It's funny because I was on a mission for an elephant, and I'm pretty sure each one I bought was a different species of bird.  That's all that's been coming in the mail at least.  I like birds though, so I'll take it. :)

Have a good day!
